Like any forum, Freezie Enthusiasts has certain rules and guidlines that must be followed in order for all members to enjoy their time here. These rules have been written up for your own safety, as well as that of your fellow members.
On the Boards...
No Spamming. One word posts, redundant agreements, and the like are not permitted. This includes one liner posts in the RPs. If you can't think of anything more creative than a single line of text, PM another member of the cast and combine posts. One liners and one word posts will be merged, edited, or deleted, at moderator discretion.
No Offensive Langauge. Try to keep the swearing to a minimum. The censor is disabled for now, but if the language gets out of hand, it'll have to be re-enabled.
No Personal Information Sharing. This means full names, addresses, social insurance numbers, IP addresses, etc. Giving out your first name is acceptable, but far from necessary. Consistently requesting the first name of another member, however, will be treated as harassement. This rule also encompasses sharing account information (ie password). You are to post in the account you created upon registration. Members found to be giving out their own or utilising other members' account information will be punished severely.
No Multiple Accounts. Each member is allowed one account with which to post on our forums. If a member is found to have created a second account, a combination of bans and/or deletions will take place, as per moderator discretion.
No Flaming. Members who are discovered to be unnecessarily harassing, insulting, belittling, threatening, or abusing other members will be punished. Keep in mind that the definition of flaming depends on the moderator present at the time of the incident. If a member feels that a member of staff is dealing inadequately with flaming, report the incident to the Administrators.
No Advertising. Please do not post any messages anywhere on this site that are primarily for the promotion or advertising of any website, forum, email address, business, or any other entities that you have an affiliation with. Self-promotion is also prohibited. Such posts will be removed from any forum other than the one designated for their existance.
No Warez, CD Keys, Pornography or Copywritten Material. Warez posts are strictly prohibited, excluding discussions concerning abandonware roms and emulation, non-copyright MP3s, and public domain movie trading.
No Hostile Links. Do not post links that redirect to websites that contain malicious code or anything that could damage another user's forum experience. This includes pop-up spammy websites.
The Private Messaging System
The Private Messaging (PM for short) feature is available to all registered users as a way to have discreet conversations without public interference. Though your privacy is important, the rules above also apply to the Private Messaging feature. There are ways to determine Private Messaging rules are being broken, so using the PM feature to circumvent forum rules will not work for you.
The Chatroom
No Spamming. This rule is open to interpretation. Spamming is the act of unnecessarily posting multiple messages, whether identical or varying. This rule will not be strongly enforced - the Chatroom is meant to be a place for casual conversation outside the Roleplaying environment. We can't very well limit the discussions, can we? However, Staff do request that any discussion that could take place in a thread on the boards be discussed in such a manner.
All Forum Rules Apply. All other rules that apply on the forums themselves also apply in the Chatroom, unless otherwise stated by the Admins.
The Freezie Rule. This is the flag-ship rule of the Freezie Enthusiasts forum. Freezies are a very important part of our lives here on FE, and we have a deep respect for these glorious forms of iced treat. To that end, we feel it only fitting to make proper capitalisation of the word mandatory. The punishment for not abiding by this rule will not be severe, though it will be... highly inconvenient, and I assure you, embarrassing.
Ignorance of the Law is no excuse for breaking it. Not knowing the Forum Rules is not an acceptable excuse for their violation. You have been warned.
Please note that the rules and guidelines listed above are subject to change without prior notification or warning. It is the responsibility of you, the member, to remain up to date on the rules and guidelines of Freezie Enthusiasts. If you have any questions. Let us know.
